I have 3 home built computers. My computer was the last I built for the home. I really couldn't afford to build them today. I have had no problems with them. If I wanted to, I could overclock the system for gaming, but I really not into a lot of games.
My son, whom I just built a new system for had owed a HP system, before his latest one. The company had provided him with a recovery disk. If his system ever went down he just stuck the recovery disk in and he was back up and running. He owed this system for 7 years.
Likely in the future I will build a new up to date system for myself, but I am quite satisfied with my system as it is at the moment.
