As if your plate isn't already full enough...
After reading your post the first thing that came to My mind was send my prayers and express my sincere sorrow for your mother. But I read it again, and while as always you and your's are in my thoughts and prayers, I don't believe that your mother would want sorrow in her picture. Your words were nearly an exact replay of my grandmother's passing. The aids and nurses loved her, because like your mother, she gave love unconditionally to them. They all became a part of our family at that time. Love is a very powerful gift, both to give and receive.
While I know there is grief at times like this, it is also a time to find peace. It seems that the one that is at Heaven's Gate is always the one that gives the peace and the strength at this time. My grandmother held on to her life here until I got to be by her side and she held My hand as I whispered to her that I was there and everything OK now. I can only hope that you have the chance to hold your mother's hand at that time as well.
