After searching, I couldn't find a thread about kids with AS.
My 8 year old son was diagnosed with AS last month. My dad has struggled as long as I can remember, but was diagnosed in his late 30's. This is all new to me from this perspective. I want to just take the pain away for my son. At this time they have him on Naproxen twice a day and physical therapy twice a week. We go into the Rhuemy team at Childrens Hospital the day before Thanksgiving to work out a complete treatment plan.
Are there any other parents out there who have kids fighting AS? What are some things you do to help them cope with both the emotional and physical issues? I would love to connect with other parents.
