Hi All
It was stated somewhere in the thread that NSD should be combined with a conventional drug therapy according to AAS.
Before I went onto NSD I was on Sulphasalzine and then Mtx. Both did diddly squat. I don't have private health insurance and my rheumatologist made it clear to me that the PBS (Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme, in Australia) would never consider me a 'worthy' candidate for anti-TNF therapy.

So in effect there was NO efficaceous conventional drug therapy available to me. Strangely the only drug that did have a positive effect was one that the medical profession in this case DOES NOT PUSH, that is, low dose Minocycline (an antibiotic) therapy, on off-patent use of a cheap minimally toxic drug not approved for AS by the medical profession.

My only option was to adopt a NSD approach, and to regain some sort of control over my life by turning my back on the so called 'expert' medical advice.
Cheers David
