It is possible that it could be dandruff. Yes the dermatologist said you can get dandruff in lots of places. I have the problem across my eyebrows down around my nose and around my ears. When I take a hot shower, the area's that peel turn red. I have also noticed that when I'm in a flare those areas stay red all day long. Turns out dandruff is linked to inflammation of the skin and the overgrowth of skin cells. in those areas affected.
