and i understand the whole travel thing. one of my biggest fears.

my husband's mother passed from metastasized esophageal cancer a few years ago, so know what the family is going through. glad you can be there for your mother. we were fortunate that my husband was telecommuting at the time and could spend much time with his mother in her last few months and help his father out. glad you can do that as well.
