the only reason i've ever heard to ease into LDN is due to the "vivid dreaming" that some get. so not sure that ramping up slowly would make the difference. before giving up on LDN, maybe see if a different compounding pharmacy can make it with a different filler. and then if same side effects, then maybe it really is the LDN itself.
i've been known to get side effects to drugs (not reported as being side effects of that drug) and so very glad the doctors believe me. case in point: statins give me edema. lyrica gives me migraines. like you, did the experiment. unlike you, doctors believed me.
hoping for you that its the filler, as LDN can be quite effective for some at least. but if the LDN, then sorry to hear that.
but there are other solutions out there as well. just that LDN is such a good choice for many. but even for me, as wonderful as it is for my enthesitis, it still doesn't prevent my flares.

Spondyloarthropathy, HLAB27 negative Humira (still methylprednisone for flares, just not as often. Aleve if needed, rarely.) LDN/zanaflex/flector patches over SI/ice vits C, D. probiotics. hyaluronic acid. CoQ, Mg, Ca, K. chiro walk, bike no dairy (casein sensitivity), limited eggs, limited yeast (bread)
