Glad to see you made the board. Take off your shoes and have a look around, a lifetime and then some of experience from fellow ASers.

You'll know if it sounds too familar.

Love your user name.
hugs

There's a section lower down on the board called technical support. They're happy to answer any of the technical questions like this. As you know I'm not the techie and cheated by sending mine via snail mail to Holly who was kind enough to help me out. I think, if you download your pic through image shack or picasso you can then download into your profile..??? Last resort can be to e-mail the Administration.
good luck

The titles of posters is reliant on the number of posts you put up or reply to. You can see the number of post next to your name each time.

Best of luck with the SS meeting. I hope it is favorable for you. Have you looked in the SS section here, they have lots of helpful suggestions? Aloha Ben suggests keeping a pain journal which can be depressing in and of itself but seems to help the doctors track what's going on with you.

Hey Jeanna,

Always good to hear your voice and words of encouragement. In case I haven't told you lately, you're the bomb.

AS has cramped my hands pitfully making replies short but wanted to keep you in the loop.

Rere (Kerria), does have the AS dx but not active, yeah. ZZ, is milling the dx process but now finally under treatment by excellent phoenix rhummy, who has taken her group of serious aliments seriously. And Lily 42 is having good success with celebrex after her dx.

Tough disease to keep under good management as it can act so differently in each individual, as you know.

Hope all is well across the pond. Will pm new addy soon.

love

Dear Klem:

Glad for the update, and also glad to see you alive and well. I think I sent a PM yesterday, but never got the 'read receipt', may have forgotten to tick that box, or may have forgotten to send altogether before navigating to another page. Grrr. Regardless, since I was just PMing to make sure you're doing alright, I'll take this post as proof of that (thank goodness).

Very sorry to hear about your hands. Goodness, keep those replies as short as can be, or dictate to someone in your household on your behalf. Oh how I've wished to be able to donate my good parts to others who have needed them on occasion. How wonderful would that be to take on all the pain and suffering of two just to let the other person have a well deserved break.

Glad that Rere, ZZ and Lily 42 seem to be navigating the dx waters well, and finding what works for them. With the big cluster in your family, I wouldn't be surprised if some doc asks to study you all at some point.

I'm doing well. Feel like my life has been on hold somewhat until I find how I fared on the exam I took on Jan 23rd. Will keep you posted.

Love and hugs,
Jeanna

The path to dx of AS is a long and winding one. One of the first clues for my Rheumy that I had MORE than fibro, was the day he asked about Prednisone---I said "of course I feel better on steroids-doesn't everybody?" Apparently, Pred doesn't do anything for fibro.
Just a thought--maybe be some help--I hope!
Good luck!
