Sherri,

HAng in there. Fight. Fight someone. Fight anyone or fight everyone.
Don't let the exhaustion or the pains win out. Get 100% hostile at anything or everything.

We're all out here pulling for you.

If it feels like the world doesn't believe you, remember we do.

If it feels like the world dosn't have an ear to listen or give a hoot.

Remember there are ears and concern here.

But fight like heck for now. Let the world know you're fed up

Sherri, I'm sorry to hear you're not feeling well. I'm not sure I have experience/advice to offer in this situation but have had experience getting frustrated by bureaucracies to the point where you kind of give up trying to get anywhere. It seems several here have provided good options. And as Steve suggested, try to fire yourself up to demand the help, support, and medication you deserve. And it always feels empowering when you fire yourself up. Don't let one bureaucary's error cause you to give up on seeking the assistance you need. If you have a decent rheumatologist, give them a call. You've been so helpful to everyone here Sherri, that this is just one small attempt to return the favor.

Hi Sherri

Hang in there and as others have said, you must find someone to listen to you.
I can promise you that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
I have been so far down, years ago, that it just couldn't get worse, but here I am alive and well. I'm telling you - everything is possible. There ARE brighter days ahead.
Get your meds and find the right person to talk to.

Love
Maggie

Sherri,

Thinking of you every day...you are so not alone even though I know you feel like it.

As you know I have been there and honestly years later when I have had some of my biggest fears I realized that yes at the time it seemed like nothing was working or that things should just come to an end but when I looked at it later I thought somehow I got thru it, I lived thru it and I am still here.

You know I am here if you need me..

Hugs,

Lisa

Heigh Sherri - There's our plucky gal, you've found your power, continue to hang in there lass. Know that your KA family are right behind you, that we are ALL here, supporting and helping you pull on through this. (Don't ask me what I'd like to do to that clonker of an idiot doctor...good thing I aint over there cause I'd have gone for him, by the scruff of his neck (figuratively speaking) an straight to the director of the hospital! GGrrrrrrrrr.)

{{BIG}} hugs from this side of the ole pond hon, and know that I'm banging the ole tom-tom for ya.

(Kat, thanks a bunch for posting an update.)

Hopefully you are reading this again today Sherri. This thread is reminding me of when I was extremely depressed... until I hit rock bottom things did not really turn around. I was so overwhelmed and did not believe I was in control any more... did me good to be in the hospital and get on some meds to settle down.

I recall when I was finally allowed to leave the locked down area. I was able to go for a walk around the hospital block... I walked around the block and thought... this is how life should be... a casual stroll around the block. But it is not, and we can only manage so much at a time. But that walk did me a lot of good for some strange reason and I can still remember it like yesterday.

Praying you are doing better today Sherri!

Tim
