Hi everyone! I am new here, and I hail from Arizona, US. I am 43 yrs, f, and have AS. My sacroilitis is really flared and I am getting REALLY tired of the pain. I thought I would just vent to someone who knows what I am talking about...it actually seems to help! thanks!

Welcome Azjenn! Pain is very tiring and after a while you just plain get sick of it. I'm glad you found us and you might be able to get some ideas for reducing the sacroilitis pain or managing it better. There is a wealth of good information out there among the folks at kickas.

Hi
Welcome to the group.

Just wanted to say I know how you feel at the moment.
I'm 3 weeks into a flare, (but coming out the other side of it now).
The non stop pain has been simply unbearable. Totally fed up with it.

Welcome! I'm fairly new too. And believe me I know how horribly tiring and annoying pain can get! And yes it may sound negative to some but venting sometimes REALLY helps! It helps to have others hear you, to be able to know exactly what you're feeling and not just say oh yes, sorry.

Hi Jenn and welcome to Kickas!

I lived in Chandler, AZ for for 5 years, loved it there. I have moved around for work quite a bit, so have lived in many places that being one. There was a local support group there that met every other month, John Kornfeld was the leader, contact the local Arthritis Foundation in Central Phoenix if interested to see if they still meet.

Hope you can find some answers for the pain.

Tim

Hey AZJenn!
Welcome to the forum. I haven't been here a lot lately because of a flare and just now saw your post.

Come back often so we can get acquainted.

I love AZ. One of our daughters lived in Tucson for a few years and we fell in love with it. We probably would live there now if they hadn't all moved from OK East. Don't want to be further from the kids/grands.

I am so sorry you are in so much pain and hope by now you have found some relief.

Blessings.
