Hi kurumi...thanks for thinking of me, I am able to sleep a little beter, thanks to the cough medicine with promethazine & coedine(sp?)...it knocks me out for about 3 hours at a time, unfortunatly it looks like I'm going to have to go back, I've got a new symptom and I'm trying to decide if I should wait until morning, I have an appointment then....take care...

Hi Mig...sorry that I've had you so worried...I too am concerned about my apparent immune system failure, I woke up with a new problem this morning...I have lumps on all of my major joints..my ankles, wrists, the sides of my knees and my SI joints...they stick up about half an inch and they're about the diameter of a nickel....I have no idea what this is all about but they're very creepy looking....

Hi Mig...I started running fever again during the night, so I went to the clinical trial doctor first thing this morning, they aren't sure what's causing the cyst-type lumps around the joints but they drew blood and sent me to the hospital for MRIs of the joints that have these lumps....they're evidently concerned about my lymphatic system too (I overheard one of the doctor's conference call with what I think was the manufacturer of the drug, but not sure), so I went and had the labs and films done and they told me to come back in the morning and to call them if I worsen between now and then....

Hi Molly...the jury's still out, I guess they'll tell me when the get the results in(I put all the details in my reply above)....I also have developed a rash and it's spreading....

Oh Michelle... I'm always following your thread, but dear lordy girl, this is about as much as one person can take! I sure hope they figure out the lumpy situation - allergy to the antibiotic maybe? I'll be hoping you make a speedy recovery. Hugs!

Hi Megan, that would be great if it's something as simple as an allergic reaction, I've only had an allergic reaction once in my life, it was to Bactrim, so I can't take any of the Sulfa drugs but when it happened, my face swelled up so big that I couldn't even recognize myself! My eyes swelled shut and my lips got so big that I thought they were going to split!
