Hi Erica,
I'm really sorry to hear about your daughter. I too have depression but it has eased up tremendously since my dx and take medication for it. I remember how it used to effect me like it was only yesterday. I liked NAMI's facebook page tonight so I can keep track of their facebook page. Thanks for coming here tonight and reminding us how dangerous depression is.
Take care,
James

Hi Erika,

Im really sorry to hear the news. You really dont know what it feels like until it happens to you. Just know that she would have loved you heaps like every child loves their parents.

Hello Erica,

Cannot begin to imagine your lose, depression is no fun.. I was hospitalized for depression many years ago as well as both of my parents. It is hard to fully comprehend.

Hugs and prayers for you and your family.

Tim

Erica, I didn't realise why or know the cause when you first shared that you had just lost your beautiful girl - I feel so sad for you. Major depression is such a cruel medical illness and you have a very good heart to post this resource for others who may be battling it themselves or trying to lend support for a family member or friend.

I hope you will stay connected here Erica, read, post, keep going, keep swimming... and let us know if there is anything we can do.

Wishing you every bit of strength and the warmest hugs,
Melinda

Erica, I'm so sorry to hear this. hug My heart is breaking for you.

My sister attempted last year, but although she survived physically, the woman my sister was is now dead. Not quite the same thing, but it was due to years of untreated depression. I feel your family's pain. hug hug hug

Warm hugs,

Kat
