If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

On 4/2010 my D level was 17 ng/ml. The doc put me on 50,000 weekly about a couple of months and on 10/2010 the D level was 35 ng/ml. I was taking supplements daily until I ran out and then just forgot about it. That's was was probably 11/2010. Then a few weeks ago I stopped having my morning Cheerios with milk for something else. That was my only intake of milk. Hmmmm I wonder if my D has dropped again and the cause of this week's unusual night pain. Time to go buy some more vitamin D supplement.

i had been wondering why mine was as low as it was, not 17 like yours, but still 33 the first time it was tested. then when having a lot of pain, i wasn't digesting my food, and i wondered how that might affect something like my vit D absorption, so i had it tested after the month or so i was like that. it had dipped down to 30 after being up in the 50s before that.
that got me to thinking, if my "IBS" due to pain could do that, i bet UC and crohn's would do that even moreso.
i'm not too sure i've noticed anything when it goes between low 30s and high 50s or visa versa, but still i keep reading how important it is, and so long as we monitor it and don't let it get too high (above 80) then i think its all good.
also tonight, was reading on the vitamin D council's site that they recommend above 50 as the minimum, not above 30 like doctors are saying.
hope taking some D makes a difference for you.
i figure, at the least, i'm hopefully helping my bones. anything else would be a bonus in my book.
