I keep thinking...they look at the dates. Doesn't matter when the EOB hits your mailbox (or the filing hits theirs), it's the date that matters. If you got your Remicade before you went to the hospital, they will take the deductible off that visit and the rest of the year is fine. If you went to the hospital before the REmicade, the deductible would be taken from there.
Go to the doctor, please. Now. Please??? If you are worried about the Remicade claim, CALL the insurance. Ask if they have gotten the claim. If they have, go to the cardiologist. Don't tell them why, just say you were checking because you thought some mail was missing from your mailbox.
DX: Psoriatic Arthritis, Osteoporosis, Psoriasis
Meds: MTX since Oct 2009, 15mg/week. Cimzia-restarted after 2 yrs away.

Lisa, you need to see the cardiologist, it's just not worth it to play around, trying to wait for the deductible. What if you drop dead before you get the deductible? Please? I am so worried about you.

Hey Lisa... has it posted yet? Have you made an appointment with the cardio in anticipation of it being posted soon? Just so you don't have to wait like 3 weeks to get in after you hear about remi getting posted. I can't believe it's taking so long.... seriously, tell me who I need to call to make this happen! I'm sure if we all here started calling, then 300 phone calls later, they'd have remi posted.  I'm sure we'd be happy to do that for you. Love you lots

A quick update..they still haven't posted my Remi treatment so I called them and they have it claiming it has been assigned to a tech and should be approved any day...I have thei weird feeling they have just been holding it so we don't make the deductible....BUT Im going ahead and looking for a Cadio so we are moving ahead.
Will update more later.
