today was the first day that my (lower) back finally felt practically back to normal (after tweaking the SI joint last week). walked around the yard a little bit, straightened up the house a bit. Could even bend down and pick things up off the floor today; yep, back nearly recovered nicely, thanks to ice, rest, and naproxen. Used judiciously, looks like I may be able to use naproxen next time I do something silly like carry a chair smile tomorrow think i might be able to take a real walk again.

Finally got off the couch and EXERCISED!!! yes

I swam around in the deep end of the pool while talking to my husband who was trying to study - for 20 minutes! grin

I'm really glad we don't have to be perfect here and that all activity counts!

Love to you all! heart GO TEAM! clap

Walked 1 mile, 25 minutes. Warm today, 73.

My SI / back seem better now. That was pretty fast, ~1 week. Being able to rest on ice a few days first and take naproxen seemed to really do the trick.

Had to park the car 1/2 mile from the building today.

Thankfully the SI joint is much better.

So that was my exercise for the day. Walked 1 mile total from and then back to the car. 20 minutes of walking, 1 mile total.

Woke up early this morning, and since I am afraid to run in the dark I went to the gym. I was on the elliptical for 32 minutes.

This morning I decided to run up Provo canyon before coming to work. Years ago I would I worked near the mouth of that canyon, and would run up it at lunch time. I only work about 3 miles from it now. My GPS battery ran out of juice about 1.25 miles up the canyon. I ran about a 1/2 mile beyond that. So I ran about 3.4 miles.
