I need to know if this has happened to anybody, and is this something that I should be really worried about. Around 4am, Fri night, I woke up and found my husbands hand on me, not too unsual but every time I threw it off it kept landing on me. I then resorted to yelling at him, telling him he was keeping me awake. No response and I threw his hand off again and it landed back on me. I thought oh my god he is dead, but no. It was my own hand. My entire arm was so numb I didn't even know it was mine, and when I realized it was mine I would hold it in the air and it would just fall down. I had no motor control or feeling at all. At first I thought I had a stroke but I could move my leg. I have mentioned in a prior post that I was starting to have numbness on my rt. side when I slept, but nothing to this degree. It wasn't until I was sitting up for a while that I got sensation back. Now it doesn't seem to matter which side I lie on, one side goes numb. In this case I wasn't even lying on that arm!!! I was totally freaked and am afraid to go to sleep tonight. I told my doc about the numbness at my last appt. and she thought it was nerve damage in my neck, when I am lying down. Is this normal? has anyone else experienced this?am I going crazy?should I inform my doc?

Thanks for listening guys
