By the way, where in MD do you live? I lived in Easton on the Eastern Shore for 6 years (1985-91). I loved it there, and was really sad when we left for my husband to work on his Ph.D (but that ended up being a great place and phase of life, too). Anyway, I miss the tidal waterways, blue crabs (yum, yum, yum -- and they're NSD safe!!!!!), the Oxford ferry ride, St. Michaels, boat rides, etc. We're planning to spend a week at Chincoteague and Assateague Islands in July (the VA part of the Eastern Shore) and will be driving through Easton to get there. It's a long drive from here, though -- we're dividing it into 2 days of travelling.
I also have relatives in the Frostburg and Lonaconing/Bloomington areas -- my parents grew up there. Of course, that's all the way on the other side of MD!
