I firmly believe that my moms health problems are from that! She smoked basically every day from age 15 to 40 when she decided for no good reason to stop. Within a year she was having tons of problems. Still almost 15 years later she's still not well. My sister, father and I have all asked her to quit the drugs the drs have given her and just start smoking again, but sadly the drs have her brainwashed. Not against pot, but against trying anything but the hard drugs they have her on.

And not to get into too many details it' mental health problems, not physical. She also worked for the dept of mental health with people with severe schizophrenia who said the only thing that helped them with the fear/paranoia and voices in their heads was smoking pot. They all swear it works better then the anti-psychotics they're on. She said people with depression and anxiety also got help from it too. Of course she said there was a fine line because it helped some and hurt others. I guess it's just like any other medication you try.

But yes it may help you feel better. Let us know how your reunion goes!
