Hi Ike et al,
You can never have too much chocolate!!!! Well actually I'm sure John will be back on to say that we have to be careful with processed sugars. I don't know - I try to limit myself to 1 bar a day and it hasn't been causing a reaction. Just take care that there are no nasty additives in it. On the iodine - I haven't bought any yet either! But I do get the occasional flare up again and am always trying to guess what caused it. I now know that live yoghurt is out for me. I am currently on a juice fast - 4th day. Strange things have happened but I feel ok - only prob is that my back is a bit sore. I am wondering if its any of the supplements I'm taking (Kelp & Alfafa, Cod Liver Oil, Glucosamine, psyillium husks & pro-biotics, slippery elm, peppermint oil, aloe vera juice) - to name but a few!! Only joking! I don't normally take so much WEIRD stuff - its just 'cos I'm doing this colon cleanse. Besides that I am careful with the fruit and veg - none of the know badies. Anyone know anything about watercress? Thought that might be bad - or raw brocoli stalks? Its something anyway but hopefully it'll die again.

p.s. as a funny aside for John (sorry to the rest!) - I went to my chemist to look for an enema the other day and the pharmacist (who was a young fella) wouldn't sell it to me - I was asked first (in very hushed tones) by two different female attendants what I wanted it for. When I said to clean out my colon they looked at me oddly! Then the male said very sternly 'I do not recommend you do that' - I said 'well I know it isn't everyones cup of tea but I have read up about it, know how to use it and want to try'. Again sternly and exercising his power 'I can't sell it to you without expert medical attention'!!!!!!!!!!!!
So there went my enema plans - tried to find colon irrigation locally but it was £48 which is too pricey for me at the mo'
