desgirl, that is interesting as I find I suffer from a similar phenomenon. Any time I try to add something back into my diet, I find I have some sort of reaction. This is mainly prominent with sugar (natural things like honey or fruit). All this despite avoidance and being on anti-fungals for plenty long. Starch has been very low as my diet has consisted basically of meat, safe veggies, safe nuts and seeds, and oils. Now I'm soon to turn things upside down a bit and avoid fat (adding in things like beans and maybe rice to compensate for missing meat) for a period of time in an effort to get the upper hand on biofilms and make my antibiotics more effective. Somehow I wonder if something else isn't going on though. I'd sure like to know.
