The only two things that have really fixed my chronic constipation are:
1. (methyl)prednisone
and
2. Humira
For me, its the inflammatory bowel problems that are causing the chronic constipation.
Diet does help mine: cabbage seems to be the best thing for it. Prunes and other fruits do too, but too much sugar for my diabetes so cabbage is better for me.
Psyllium is the best thing for the symptom, before I was given methylpred or humira.
I suspect that like for many of us, the reason you are constipated is because you have inflammation in your ileum too.
