...running, gardening, swimming, gym-ing, watching sunsets....

Good job everyone!!! cheerleader

I've been swimming 20min e/o day, scraping and painting the deck as I have energy, and taking short walks around the neighborhood.

So weird how depression makes me feel nervous and exhausted at the same time. Getting a bit better everyday though.

Go team! clap

Sue- did you put your air conditioner on to remove the moisture? Lin and I are walking each day.

Erica- I understand about not wanting to take the depression meds. It is similar to the craving for starch.....

I am glad that you are getting better!

Thanks Lon. I'm taking them though. I just didn't want to be that old lady with the pill purse... But so be it. God is in charge.

So glad you & Lin are out walking together. I love the idea of the holding hands and kissing.

hugss

Sarvesh_Deshmukh, cheers! Good to see you here! cheerleader

Erica, I think I can understand the med thing....though I haven't taken depression meds, can imagine how they seem different, but too, have seen in family and friends and students what a difference these meds can make.

Lon: no AC here, except in my car, but gotta be grateful for fans smile fan at work and fan at home, blowing on my right now, make a huge difference. smile

Today, walked an invited speaker to his car in the 90 degree heat. ½ mile, 10 minutes each way. Thank goodness I took a bottle of water with me. Today so far I've drank 12 cups of water and dilute iced teas.

Liquids and fans, that's the ticket in this heat smile

When we lived further south, everything was AC'ed, so though it was hot and humid much longer, we had the AC and then spent the weekends at a lake or a river.

But knowing winter and cold and snow are coming, trying to enjoy the heat for the short time we still have it. smile

Lon, that sounds like quite the workout smile

today, on my feet teaching an hour lecture in the morning, followed by prepping, teaching, and finishing up lab class...that was about 6+ hours total on my feet walking around a lot.

Lon that is a lot of work, and watch your self on the roof. I am now forbidden from getting on the roof.

Ran 4.4 miles Saturday. When I say ran now days that mean run a mile then walk a 0.1 then run again.

Then later Saturday my wife and I did the zipline tour in Provo Canyon.

That is not me in the video, just one I found on youtube

Monday walked a mile to the bus stop.

zipline sounds like a lot of fun!

we walked tonight 1.5 miles, ~35 minutes,

to the cell phone tower...one osprey was there, babies have flown from the nest. Peaceful and quiet walking through the farmers fields....½ of the fields were bought by farmers who will be doing organic farming for the local grocery store chain...that will be nice, no more pesticide planes flying around.

weather was nice: ~75 degrees and no humidity and no wind...

nice sunset too.
