Oh Tim

If you only knew.... I didn't realise sprouts would be "safe", assuming that beans are fairly starchy - butter beans, baked beans etc. However, honey bunny won't go for that kind of thing. He'll screw up his nose at anything that can be deemed rabbit food unless it's hidden in some beef / stirfry.

Typically, Emile doesn't do salad, fish & seafood and is taking a cautious liking to ostrich meat (which is readily available here, cheaper than beef fillet but tastes just as good and is just as tender). Our diet typically involves beef, beef, beef - did I mention beef? Chicken, sometimes pork and occasionally lamb (that's fairly pricey on our shelves). Where our diet typically consisted of Kentucky Fried Chicken, crumbed steaks, pizza, chips etc., we're having to be very inventive and eating out has limited options. Nonetheless, we persevere and Emile is very happy with the results of being on this eating plan and has no intention of reverting back. He says it's just not worth it.

He has an idea that beer would be out - being made from barley etc. We haven't tested it with iodine, but do you have a clue on that one?

Regards

Gabs
