It means a lot to me to be able to communicate from my own experiences, since I have had the same trouble as you in understanding some of the material. I still read this stuff and scratch my head, wondering whether anybody else is getting it, or whether the authors even know anything at all about AS in the first place. Usually, it is a little of both...
