However, I used to feel like I was walking around in a fog(literally) and when I dropped sugar (including fruit) I never have that problem any more. I feel more alert and energetic than I have felt since middle school.
This mimics my situation as well. I actually gave up sugar (including fruits) because I noticed a clear and repeatable reaction to it. Big time brain fog and light head-edness. Over four years later, I've added some occasional fruit back into the diet. As long as I don't go overboard with the fruit, I'm fine. But truth be told, after all my experimenting with fruit, I actually like the way I feel without any sugar at all. Go figure. However, you have to love the convenience of fruits!
