Mine are like Cindy's. Actually to get the needle off, I have used a pair of pliars to twist it. It will than unscrew.
The syringe is empty. I too have a bottle of sterile water. The water will last about 3 months. After drawing up the water, I than inject it into the Enbrel powder. Let it set a few minutes until the foam disappears. Than draw that solution back into the needle to use. After piercing the water bottle and the enbrel bottle, the needle can get dull.
I hope after Sept that I can continue with the study or find a new study. I'm making sure my doc knows. My next visit is 12/2/02. After that I will go two months, and than a three month schedule of study visits.
