Are any other Enbrel users having recurring joint pain and stiffness after taking it for a while?

This was a wonder drug for me when I started using it 12 months ago. Now it looks like the honeymoon is over. I managed to drive to school today, but when I slid down out of the van, I found I couldn't walk. It probably didn't help matters any having the temps this morning in the single digits. Spent most of the day in the wheelchair. I've been having some trouble walking since right before Christmas, and finally had to dust off my wheels. Luckily, it was in the back of the van, and my son was there to help me. (Had semester finals today, or I would have stayed home wrapped up in my electric blanket.)

My iritis has also flared up. No doubt it is related. My undx'd IB is also going overtime. I'm not sure if my troubles are from the Enbrel no longer working, my FMS or just plain orneriness. Maybe it's just a combination, but there is no doubt that the joint pain is back with a vengence. The morning stiffness that was a thing of the past is now up to 3-4 hours. I've lost a lot of ground in just a few weeks.

Does anyone have any insight into what may be happening?

Cindy

Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance.
