I had a new problem with my left hip today. It was extremely painful overnight. Anyway, I did all of the exercises and stretches, added in the backstroke and a few laps of freestyle, and then I tried something new - using the step that is in the water (as used in step aerobics), I knelt on one knee and then stretched the other leg backwards. It was a good stretch. I took the remainder of the morning to be free of the pain, and there has been improvement this afternnon. I will share the stretch with Margaret when she returns next week from having some leave.

I am still looking at and learning the other exercises. My aim is to stay afloat as I have a tendency to sink when I am lying backwards. The best of these exercises is moving my arms from the side and then stretching backwards. It gives a great stretch in the back.

I am having some minor spasm problems at the moment. These are the old spasms that I have tried to explain on a previous occasion. It is most noticeable on the left side (of course) and I not sure why that spot has gone into spasm.

Oh well, after a bad night it is time to head for the bedroom. Nighty-Night.
