Hey Maggie,
pass these on to who ever you want, that's what they are here for. The more people I can help the better. Hopefully I will get to some core stability exercises next week.

Cindy,

I had the best session yet in the pool today. I got in quite a few laps of backstroke as well as Australian crawl (freestyle). Margaret finally received the exercise regime from the woman in Queensland. These are hydrotherapy exercises. We have already implemented some of these exercises. We then tried out some that were on the sheet (with some very interesting attempts at drowning myself - hee hee).

I found a way to implement some of the new exercises at the same time. When I have time I will try and explain how I have done this, but I think I will have to trial it in the pool again ;-).

Since my purse has been turned up I guess I am a little more upbeat, and after having a 3 and 1/2 hour sleep yesterday, I have been feeling a lot better in the low back.

I am very interested in the core stability exercises. I have more than one gym ball, and I have the toning balls to work with. My doctor wants me to do a certain stretch which I find difficult to do on the floor, but should be able to handle it on the bed. Some of the other stretches that I have been shown I can do whilst I am sitting or standing.

Since I have been doing this therapy I have had decreased pain in the sternum. Also my knees do not hurt anymore. This is fantastic because I have had sore knees for a very long time ;-)
