Hi Everyone!

So, it's been 9 days since my last post. That is because I have been in a gruesome flare caused by my own stubborn actions.

What I told ya'll a few days ago is that the ride to Denver & a weekend training caused my flare.

The REAL TRUTH is that just before the 3.5 hr ride to Denver, I attempted to help my hubby set up the NAMI Farmer's Market booth in 97F wind. Yep, that's me… StuperWoman! Ugh. I hate when I do that kind of thing.

In about 12 minutes of setting up the booth I got vomiting heat stroke sick, complete with butterfly mask which took 3 hrs to even start to go away. And I've had some serious neuropathy in my feet, ankles, and hands since then.

The good news is that TODAY IT'S FINALLY STARTED TO GO AWAY!

The bad news is that I was in such a bad mood that I didn't track my exercise very well.

Yesterday I swam for 1 hr.
Friday I cleaned house for 2 hrs.
Thursday I swam for 45 minutes.

Before that? Can't remember.

More GOOD NEWS. I'm taking Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions a healthy self care class that was developed at Stanford. It's AMAZING!

A doctor once told my husband that his fear of heights was a result of physical vertigo, that it was not the fear keeping him from taking a job which would require him to climb telephone poles. The doc said that the brain creates sensible fear, and when the body is capable the fear goes away.

You're my hero for running at all! cheerleader

Just do what you can until you can do more! grin
