by the time i was able to get outside it was almost dark, so walked in the neighborhood cul-de-sac which is 1) lighted and 2) no cars except the dozen families living there. a nice warm 28 degrees, no wind, very peaceful. actually a little too warm as i had to take off my scarf and gloves early on. christmas lights. and three deer ran across the road not too far in front of me, then stopped to check me out, or frozen in fear, not sure which; not sure why, when i see them several times a week, i still think its exciting.......of course not as exciting as seeing a bear, but i think that would be just a little too much excitement!

walked: 2 miles, 45 minutes

schmaltzy 70s soft rock on my ipod starting with Brandy by Looking Glass;
that's ok, yesterday we were listening to the Clash, so it all balances out!
